The Sacristy writers program

Spread the truth and beauty of Christ.

Did the Lord bless you with talents you would like to use? We hand you the research for a topic, and you turn it into something beautiful for the world.

The mission

Many hands make light work.

Sacristy wants to bring the richness of a 2,000-year-old tradition to every Catholic in America, on their phone.

  1. Two thousand years worth telling. The saints and martyrs, the councils, the cathedrals, and the hospitals and universities the Church gave the world. Much of it is still little known.

  2. The research is done for you. For each topic we put together a detailed brief: the dates, the sources and the exact quotes, ready when you sit down to write.

  3. Your voice, in front of 60 million Catholics. Write it however you like. Your name and a link to your work go on the article.

The harvest indeed is great, but the labourers are few.

Matthew 9:37, Douay-Rheims
The research pack

The research is done before you start.

For each topic we put together a pack of facts, each with its source. There is no draft in it. The style, the form and the voice of the article are yours to choose.

Topics you care about Optional

What we keep, and why. We keep only what you type here. The Sacristy team reads it to decide on your application and to write back to you. We never sell it, never share it, and never add you to a mailing list. This form saves nothing in your browser. To have your application deleted, write to support@sacristy.app.
